"One of the most important principles that are inculcated to every child that enters the National System of Youth and Child Orchestras of Venezuela, is the rigor with which must interpret the music, whatever the musical genre.
The 7/4 Ensemble is faithful to this teaching and show to us a new production in which its members boast their technical and artistic virtuosity, recreating works of traditional and popular Universal repertoire.
Based on the universal, such as Tchaikovsky's classic Nutcracker, or Louis Prima's Sing sing sins, this group created in Lara state floor, delves into the rhythms of our Joropos, merengues and aguinaldos to continue preserving and spreading, with the
genius of their seven young members, our traditional venezuelan music.
The 7/4 Ensemble, combines the academic requirement with the nationalist feeling, own of all the musicians of El Sistema.
Congratulations to José Antonio Arvelo, Gabriel Gutiérrez Rivas, Tarcisio Barreto D'addona, Jesús Vásquez, Moises Rojas, José Francisco Montes and Miguel Pagua, who since children have been formed in El Sistema and now pass an infinty of musical creativity... Follow the successes".
José Antonio Abreu, Director founder of the National System of Youth and Child Orchestras of Venezuela.
